Construction Entrepreneurs Elect Nicholas Pandey as FCAN President

Nicholas Pandey has been elected president of the Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal (FCAN), following an election held on Thursday.

Pandey secured 514 votes, defeating his opponent Ang Dorji Lama, who received 413 votes.

Ramji Pant was elected senior vice president with 474 votes, while his rival Roshan Dahal garnered 452 votes.

Shivahari Ghimire was elected general secretary, receiving 527 votes against 380 votes secured by is competitor, Balibhadra Rana.

FCAN also elected provincial vice presidents for all seven provinces. Those elected include Dhirendra Dahal for Koshi Province, Shambhu Thakur for Madhesh Province, Balakrishna Thapa for Bagamati Province, Khim Prakash Malla for Gandaki Province, Sahadev Khadka for Lumbini Province, Him Bahadur Budha for Karnali Province, and Prakash Bahadur Shetti for Sudurpashchim Province.

Additionally, Mangal Shahi was elected deputy general secretary (policy), Santosh Shah as deputy general secretary (internal), and Ganga Pokharel as vice president under the women's quota. Ujjwal Gautam won the post of treasurer, while Upendra Ghising was elected deputy treasurer.
