F1Soft Appoints Sanat Kumar Poudel as CEO

F1Soft International has appointed Sanat Kumar Poudel as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership transition as the fintech company celebrates its 22nd anniversary.

Poudel succeeds co-founder Subas Sharma, who led the company for over a decade and was instrumental in developing key digital platforms including eSewa and Fonepay. Sharma will continue as a director, focusing on the group's long-term strategy.

Poudel, currently CEO of FoneNXT, will oversee both organizations. He brings over 20 years of experience in the ICT sector and previously spent more than a decade at Nabil Bank, leading digital transformation initiatives.

Sharma expressed confidence in the transition, saying Poudel is well-positioned for the next phase of growth. Poudel called his appointment a privilege and committed to strengthening F1Soft's technological leadership and expanding Nepal's fintech capabilities globally.

F1Soft has played a pioneering role in Nepal's digital payments ecosystem through platforms like eSewa and Fonepay, significantly advancing financial inclusion. The company aims to deepen its domestic impact and scale its solutions internationally in the coming years.
